Chloé is the latest high-fashion brand tackling the sneaker game. Known for its girly, bohemian aesthetic, the French brand has released its first sportswear-inspired sneaker. Under the vision of creative director Natacha Ramsay-Levi, the Sonnie sneaker is a part of the brand’s Pre-Fall 2018 collection and is available in both a high and low top style. With a range of four different colorways, the shoe features a sloped silhouette, futuristic split sole and criss-crossed buckle straps. A sneaker with hiking boot-inspired details, the shoe is constructed from a nylon upper and a mix of suede calfskin, mesh and neoprene. Finishing touches include minimal Chloé branding on the heel and tongue.

Showcased in the Pre-Fall 2018 lookbook, the shoe is styled with a range of pant options including leggings, high socks and trousers. Fans of the chunky sneaker trend will definitely gravitate towards the Sonnie, a versatile shoe which can be worn with a sporty edge or even a preppier aesthetic matched with a blazer and cropped trousers.

Colorways include “Jungle Green,” “Light Eucalyptus,” “Sooty Khaky” and “Dark Purple” and the shoe retails for $680 USD.
